What is Spotlight Tutors?
Spotlight Tutors is a tutoring company founded in 2023 by two university students who identified a gap in learner-tutor relations; many learners require assistance with schoolwork from tutors, but often struggle with where to start or who to ask. Even when a match is found, who is to say it is the best match?
Similarly, tutors, while readily available, do not always succeed in reaching learners who need assistance. Even when a candidate is found, various logistical issues may arise, such as coordinating time and transport that suits both parties, not to mention the repeated problem of potentially not being the best match. At Spotlight, we aim to bridge that gap and rectify these issues by providing both learners and tutors alike with a space where they can communicate with and find each other. Our service is hosted entirely on Discord, a popular online communication platform that is not only free to use but also eliminates many of the challenges mentioned above. Furthermore, it allows learners to find a tutor they are most comfortable with and arrange sessions with them regardless of location or transport – all they need is a time, and the rest is up to them

We help connect you with learners who need assistance across the country, providing a platform for you to refine your tutoring skills.
Since everything happens online, there is no need to worry about travel. If you have a quiet week, you can simply log on to the server and answer as many questions as you like – you are paid per question answered. Even during busy exam periods, rest assured, your place on the server will not be affected.
Upon joining the server, you will also receive two free advertising slots that you can use each month. Additionally, if you want to host an extra tutoring session on the weekend, we provide a space on our server for that purpose, and we take 0% of the profits you generate.
